Kristin Van Becelaere, O.D.

Optometrist

Dr. Van Becelaere earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology cum laude from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2001. After completing her undergraduate degree, she attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, and earned her doctorate in 2006. 


She completed internships at Coastal Vision Center in Fernandina Beach, FL, and Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. 


In 2005, she participated in a Lion's Club mission trip to Costa Rica. In 2012, she ran in the SABATES EYE CENTERS TROLLEY RUN, which is a benefit for the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI). To learn more about CCVI, go to www.ccvi.org.


Currently, Dr. Van B is a member of the Heart of America Contact Lens Society and attends their annual educational meeting in Kansas City, MO each year.
